I have a private practice, where I support young people ages six to 25, based at Brighton Consulting Rooms, Preston Park, Brighton, and The Yews Centre, Haywards Heath, West Sussex. Online/remote therapy can be discussed for older teenagers and young people, but for young children I can only offer face-to-face appointments. I usually see children and young people for weekly, 50 minute sessions. For very young children, sessions may be shorter if 50 minutes seems too long for the child to manage.

For young people under the age of 16, my practice is to meet with a young person's parent/s or primary carer for a consultation before beginning sessions with the young person. This is so I can learn more about what is happening for your young person, and we can explore together how I might be able to help – including whether psychotherapy or counselling would be appropriate. I think it is important for parents to get to know me too, and we can speak more freely if your child or young person is not present. Initial consultations last 50 minutes.

If you are over the age of 16, you can meet me for an initial consultation on your own, or with a parent or carer if you'd prefer. You're welcome to get in touch yourself if you think I might be able to help.

Having worked with young people in a diverse range of settings, I've supported children and young people through a wide variety of difficulties, including anxiety, depression, peer conflicts, bereavement, self-harm, social media difficulties, neurodiversity, trauma, and academic struggles, among many others. Whatever the specific difficulty, my focus is on the relationship we build together, rather than treating any one issue in isolation.

My current fee for both initial consultations and ongoing psychotherapeutic counselling sessions is £65.

Insurance: I am approved to provide psychotherapy/counselling by Bupa, AXA Health, Aviva and Vitality.
